Doug and Dana Hixson moved to Longmont in June of 2021 to start Connection Church. They love Colorado and the beauty of the Rockies. They have two adult children, Benjamin and Adyson.

Sam joined the Connection Church team January of 2026 and is now leading our worship team on Sunday mornings!

Patty and her husband Jim have been a part of Connection Church since the first small group Bible Study. Patty joined the team of Connection Church in 2024.
Sophia Fornero
Young Adult Minister and Creative Director
Sophia moved to Longmont in August of 2025 after interning at Connection Church during the summer of 2024. Sophia enjoys spending time in the mountains and loves all things creative.
Connor Robertson
Student Minister
Connor moved to Northern Colorado in June of 2025 after being an intern at Connection Church the previous summer. You can find Connor leading student events and often playing guitar on Sundays.
